Revelle College
UC San Diego’s first college aims at developing well-rounded students prepared for competition in a complex world. Structured curriculum develops essential skills, such as creative writing and thinking, using the language of science and scholarship as well as the actual art of learning.
Neighborhood & Housing
First-year Revelle students are housed in a cluster of eight multistory residence hall buildings overlooking Revelle Plaza.
64 Degrees, 64 North, and Roger’s Market are all adjacent to student Housing. Basketball courts, a green roof space (with ocean view), and the Main gym and Natatorium swimming complex are also within a short walk.

Muir College
Named for the renowned naturalist and wilderness preservationist, John Muir College is deeply committed to supporting humane goals and purposes. Self-sufficiency and individual choice are integral to the college’s philosophy of learning.
Neighborhood & Housing
Located on the west side of campus within walking distance of the beach, Muir residential housing surrounds a grassy quad where students can study, play frisbee, or socialize. First-year students are generally housed in Tenaya and Tioga high-rise residence halls featuring suites of primarily double rooms and some singles. Second year students get the opportunity to select space in Tuolumne or Tamarack apartments.
Opposite the Housing complex are Pines and Roots restaurants, Redwood Lounge, a small coffee shop, and a convenience store. The Mandeville Center for the Performing Arts, a pool, gymnasium, recreation fields and volleyball, basketball and tennis courts are nearby, making it possible to live a rich and varied life within a small area and maintain a strong community spirit.

Marshall College
Thurgood Marshall College’s philosophy emphasizes scholarship, social responsibility, and the belief that a liberal arts education should include an understanding of each person’s role in society.
Neighborhood & Housing
First-year residents live in residence halls equipped with cable TV and high-speed internet. Residence halls house students in suites that vary of double and single rooms surrounding a spacious common area with a living room, large bathroom, and a patio. First-year students may also overflow to a few Marshall apartments.
Goody's, OceanView, laundry facilities, meeting rooms, game room and student activities center are located nearby. RIMAC campus recreation facility, and Geisel Library are just minutes away.

Roosevelt College (ERC)
Eleanor Roosevelt College (ERC) honors one of America’s most noted political leaders and humanitarians of the 20th Century. ERC emphasizes a comprehensive general education that prepares students to compete in the global and multi-cultural economy of the 21st century.
Neighborhood & Housing
The majority of first-year students live in residence hall suites of primarily double rooms and some singles, bordering a community green and Café Ventanas. The Village Market and The Bistro Dining facilities are nearby, as well as the RIMAC sports complex.
Laundry facilities, study and meeting rooms, mailroom, game room, student activities center, student-run TV station and International House are all conveniently located in the ERC neighborhood. RIMAC campus recreation facility is just a short walk away.

Sixth College at North Torrey Pines Living Learning Neighborhood
Sixth College challenges students to explore the historical and philosophical connections between culture, art, and technology. Creativity, imagination and artistic expression are encouraged as students learn to take intellectual risks and think outside the box. The residential life program serves to enhance the academic mission and philosophy of the college by making connections to learning experiences outside the classroom.
Neighborhood & Housing
Most Sixth College first-year students live in predominantly double rooms (with some singles) housed in 3 buildings in the new home for Sixth College at North Torrey Pines Living Learning Neighborhood. Shared suite lounges and kitchenettes are available for studying and socializing. More information on our new home is available here. The living area is conveniently equipped with wireless internet.
Continuing students for Sixth College live in apartments—furnished with kitchen, living room and offering a mix of single and double bedrooms.
Laundry facilities and mailroom are available in the neighborhood.

Warren College
Earl Warren College honors the former U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice, who believed that responsible citizens take charge of their lives. Students are encouraged to connect their education with personal and career goals.
Neighborhood & Housing
Residence halls feature suites of double and single rooms overlooking the UCSD Ecological Reserve. Freshmen may also be housed in apartments, located on the opposite side of Canyon Vista and Earl’s Place eateries. Each two bedroom apartment houses four students in double rooms.
Warren Housing offers covered bike storage and laundry rooms, student activities center, Earl’s Fun House, a Mac lab, Canyon Vista restaurant and Earl’s Place (a gourmet coffee shop and convenience store). Residential buildings surround basketball and sand volleyball courts. Canyonview Aquatic Center with an Olympic-size pool, climbing wall and weight room is close by.

Seventh College
Seventh College is the newest of UC San Diego’s seven colleges and will matriculate its first cohort of students in Fall 2020. Located in one of the most beautiful sections of campus, just blocks from the ocean and next door to UC San Diego's RIMAC sports complex and the Rady School of Management, you will find many places at Seventh College to connect with others, relax, and have fun. Plus, all Seventh College students have the opportunity to live in beautiful modern apartments, complete with full kitchens, many of which boast spectacular ocean views.

The Village at Pepper Canyon East and Rita Atkinson Residences
The Village is a community of apartments and residence halls designed especially for continuing students. The neighborhood consists of Matthews Apartments, Pepper Canyon Apartments, and the Rita Apartments. This unique community is conveniently located near the new mass-transit trolley. The Rita Apartments are located within walking distance of shopping and restaurants.
